SWIFTA BEATER: THE COME UP

Swifta’s musical journey began at the age of 3, at his father’s record studio, “Mind Searchers Studio.” Swifta’s father was the producer behind Apache Indian’s iconic track “Boom Shaka-A-Lak.” This early exposure to music set the foundation for Swifta’s career.
By 11, Swifta was already experimenting with music production, creating UKG tracks on the PlayStation game “Music 2000.” His talent quickly caught the attention of @djbigmikee , who supported his early efforts. Swifta continued honing his skills on the game until 2003 when he transitioned to FL Studio, utilising his father’s computer.
Swifta’s move to FL Studio marked a significant step in his development as a producer. He began dabbling in Hip Hop. Where he joined E.O.G (Element Of Grime), a group formed with his school friends. After high school, Swifta dedicated himself entirely to music production, collaborating with artists like No Lay, & creating instrumentals for E.O.G.
In 2006, Swifta was introduced to Bassline by friends who encouraged him to produce the genre. Initially hesitant, he grew to appreciate Bassline & began to experiment. His debut vinyl release in 2008, “Why Did You Play Me”, quickly became a hit, receiving national radio play & support from key figures in the scene.
For the next two years, Swifta built a solid reputation, touring weekly across the country & energising clubs with his high-energy tracks. However, as Bassline’s popularity waned, Swifta returned to his Grime roots, a pivotal moment in his career. Armed with industry knowledge & polished production skills, he was ready to re-enter the Grime scene.
In 2010, Swifta released the “Horror Movie EP,” which marked his return to Grime. The EP quickly gained heavy support from @djlogansama on Kiss FM, solidifying his status in the genre. Swifta’s music became a favourite among MCs, making him a sought-after producer for sets.
Over the years, Swifta has produced for the UK’s biggest artists. His journey from a young boy in his father’s studio to one of the most successful producers in the UK is a testament to his talent & dedication. Swifta’s legacy continues to grow, making him a pivotal figure in the UK music scene.
